WORKOUT OF THE DAY:
SELF-MYOFASCIAL RELEASE: 5 minutes as needed.
DYNAMIC WARM-UP: roughly 60ft. of each: Lunge with Hands Overhead, Side Shuffle, Grapevine, High Knees, Butt Kicks, Skipping for Height, Duck Walk
STRENGTH: Back Squat, up to peak set of 1.
METABOLIC CONDITIONING: Time Trial, Run 1 mile.
The Route: the Sansom loop. Down Chestnut, Right on 12, Right on Sansom, Right on 13th, Right on Chestnut.
Intimidated by the mile? Don’t shy away from CrossFit Endurance! Recent results? The two most regular runners to Liz’s CFE class had some pretty notable mile time PRs in the last week. Scotti clocked in at 6:48 (her last mile PR was 7:15!) and Shana at 7:26 (her last time was 8:something) – it works when you do it!
