Practical Self-Defense Seminar
What would you do if you were assaulted on the street, or were approached by an aggressive bully intent on ruining your night out with friends? Are you interested in learning some simple yet effective techniques to help you handle potentially dangerous situations and get away safely?
Please join us for a self-defense seminar at CFCC!
Learn practical, time-tested techniques that use common sense and leverage against an attacker.
Men and women (and non-members!) are both welcome. The majority of the class will focus on general techniques, with a special segment dedicated to sex-specific instruction based on realistic situations that men and women may encounter.
Learn how to:
React to some of the most common forms of attack.
Block strikes and neutralize an assailant while standing, and even if taken to the ground.
Use body language and psychological skills that could affect the outcome of a potentially physical confrontation.
Most importantly, defend yourself and get away to safety.
When: Saturday, March 8th, 1:30 – 3:30PM
Where: CrossFit Center City
