CrossFit Center City is located in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia at 13th and Chestnut and offers CrossFit-style and Olympic Weightlifting training to both the seasoned athlete or the budding beginner.
VISITING FROM ANOTHER CROSSFIT AFFILIATE?
Interested in dropping in? We’d love to have you! We welcome drop-ins from other registered CrossFit affiliates in all of our regular classes (labeled ‘Workout of the Day’ on our schedule). Specialty classes, such as Olympic Lifting, Endurance, etc. are not open to drop-ins. We do also have a few requirements before you start signing up:
- YOU MUST EMAIL US IN ADVANCE – this is non-negotiable. You must give us at least 1 full business day’s notice. Note that our office hours are Monday through Friday, 12pm-5pm. That means that if you’d like to drop in over the weekend, we must hear from both you and your verifying coach by Friday at 5pm.
- You must be a current active member at another CrossFit facility for at least 3 months.
- Your affiliate owner or head coach must contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (267-909-8210) ahead of time to verify your membership and your proficiency in the major movements, to include the two Olympic lifts. If you have any current issues (injuries, mobility limitations, etc) that would also be great to know.
- Once approved, let us know which class time you’d like to attend. All drop-ins are $20 CASH/session.

BRAND NEW TO CROSSFIT?
Elements is our mandatory introductory course for anyone with less than 3 months of CrossFit experience at a registered affiliate. All of the necessary skills will be covered and reviewed over 9 classes in 3 weeks, based on a set curriculum. The classes are cumulative, as each session builds on the preceding ones. Each session is an hour long and follows a format similar to our normal classes.
The course is intended to be accessible to everyone, yet still offers plenty to keep you on toes if you do have experience. Regardless of your fitness level, you will still learn a lot and get in a strenuous workout in each class. You will emerge from this course having a comprehensive knowledge of the full breadth of movements and programming of CrossFit. Each schedule only accepts 10 people per 2 coaches or 6 people per 1 coach, and you’re required to attend at the same class time each day - to ensure the maximum in individual attention.
The cost for Elements is $175 for the month. Please note that you are required to attend at least 8 of the 9 classes that are available. If you miss additional classes, they must be made up with a Coach, one-on-one, at a rate of $60/session.

The course carries no obligation to begin a membership at CrossFit Center City – but if you DO wish to begin a membership after you’ve completed the course, you must do so within 30 days of your completion date in order to ensure that what you’ve learned remains relevant.

If you would prefer more specific attention for Elements or an Elements cycle based entirely on your own schedule you may elect to complete Elements only through 6 sessions of personal training.
