AMRAP in 20 minutes of:

5 Handstand Push-ups

10 Single Leg Squats (total)

15 Pull-ups (or TRX rows)

Scale to 4/8/12 to ensure completion of at least 5 rounds.  If you’ve got a case of dagger traps from the last few days, scale the hspu heavily and aim to make single leg squats and pull-ups the focus of your prescribed work.

The issue of saturated fat intake in eating a Paleo diet can cause a lot of debate.  You’d do well to really try to take in this post if you can. Weston A. Price is a research foundation that has published a lot of helpful information about some of the main components of paleo-style eating.  That said, guys like Robb Wolf and Loren Cordain have taken a markedly different perspective on “paleo”.

The philosophy behind these two different perspectives does not seem as practically important when you consider what you’re needs are. Would you benefit from being leaner? The nutrients and lower fat content of lean (grassfed or pasture raised meats and seafood) protein will essentially provide you with a lower caloric content per ounce of meat you take in.  Are you looking for higher quality of life?  Cleaner, more nutritious protein can’t hurt.  Are you just starting the paleo diet and looking for a simple beginning?  Don’t fret about how many eggs you eat in a week just yet!

    I’m SO glad tomorrow is my rest day. My favorite way to have eggs is with bacon… or baked in my oven with curry powder, spinach, mushrooms and TOMATOES.

    I just wrote on this! I’m so over egg-phobia and so ON to combining the best that WAP and Paleo have to offer. My favorite is a goat cheese and sun dried tomato frittata, or a simple poached egg over just about anything!

    Great video! Favorite way for eggs: over medium. But I usually have then scrambled with a bunch of vegetables.

    Agreed. 2 eggs, perfectly poached over asparagus with a dot of sirachi to cut the richness of the egg. Delightful.

    I got an omlette pan for Christmas (Emeril, nonstick) and it has revolutionized my egg-enjoying experience! I beat 2 eggs with a little raw milk, and put a pat of butter to coat the bottom of the pan. Then I cook the eggs on low/medium heat, swirling to get the egg-sheet to a consistent thickness. I cover it with a pot lid intermittently to help cook the eggs through without burning. When the egg is just a touch runny on the top, I fold it in half and let it brown a little on both sides. It comes out SO fluffy and delicious, I can’t believe how much better it tastes than 2 scrambled eggs, and this is without a filling!

    3 egg omelette, feta cheese, diced yellow peppers, 3 strips of bacon. I’m a simple man with simple tastes.
