Workout of the Day:

MOVEMENT PREP:┬áLax Ball Glutes and TFL (make sure you’re actually getting to the TFL!), 2 minutes per side. Single Leg Squat Hold, 1 minute per side. Gastroc/Soleus Stretch, 1 minute per side. 3 rounds of: 10 Samson Lunge Steps, 10 Glute Bridges.

STRENGTH: Side Sled Pulls for 25ft (no turn), spend 20 minutes working on this skill working up in weight. The entire time you should attempt to keep the feet facing perpendicular to the path of the sled during the whole of the pull.

CONDITIONING: Then, we’ll split into groups of three and divvy up the axles at deadlift loads that are more than doable for each team. Complete AMRAP in 8 minutes of: Deadlift, Box Jump (24-for men and women) – 16 reps, Rest. Your score is your number of DLs multiplied by your team’s chosen load.
