Workout of the Day: Monday, 1.20.14

A few REALLY important reminders about water intake.  Especially in and around the time of the year that we ramp up intensity and ask MORE of our bodies and minds than is typical – this is REALLY important. Drink water AND, if you’re feeling a bit spent, it’s not actually that crazy to pick up a bottle of gatorade post WOD either!


MOVEMENT PREP: AMRAP in 3 minutes of: Gymnastics Style Burpees – 3 reps (focus on keeping the landing in the heel and moving smoothly through reps), Spiderman Lunges plus Thoracic Rotation (turn towards front knee and point behind) – 3 steps per leg.
STRENGTH: Pause Front Squat x 3 to a peak.
CONDITIONING: OPEN WOD 12.1 – 7-minute AMRAP Burpees to 6″ above reach.
