Workout of the Day: Monday, 7.29.13

One more look back at Coach Zoda’s performance at Nationals this past weekend – both Zoda and Ryan performed like Champions and Ryan came away with a silver medal in his class AND a silver medal in the clean and jerk. I’m so proud of Liberty Barbell Club‘s now Nationally ranked and medaling competitors – now to prep for the American Open! (December…)

WORKOUT OF THE DAY:

WHAT? It’s PEAK WEEK!

MOVEMENT PREP:  Lax Ball Pecs, 2 minutes each side. Pec Minor Release, one minute on each side. Then, 3 rounds of: Inverted Hand Push-ups – 3 reps, Spiderman Step and Stand – 3 reps per side, Pause Jump Squat – 3 reps.

STRENGTH: Back Squat, up to a peak of 1.

CONDITIONING:

Test, the “Midtown Mile”. This a time trial, try to beat your previous time!

If you’d like to skip running for the day, you may row a 1k time trial.
