Workout of the Day: Saturday, 5.17.14

Today’s featured member of the Regionals Team is Coach Morgan. Below is a picture of one of Morgan’s first competitions in the area. She’s gone from a banded pull-up to 5 unbroken muscle-ups in a workout… and she is given so much time, effort, and heart into making herself the athlete she is today – ready to dance at Regionals 2014! Congrats, Voz!



MOVEMENT PREP: Foam Roll as needed for 5 minutes. Cat Camel, Bird-dog, Spider-Man Step plus Reach Behind, Single Leg Deadlift plus forward reach, Bear Crawl Forward, Bear Crawl Backward, Crab Walk Forward, Crab Walk Backward.

SKILL WORK: Tripod Skill Work

STRENGTH: L-Sit Attempts – Accumulate 2 minutes each. Air Squat Hold Attempts – Accumulate 2 minutes.


With a partner, AMRAP in 10 minutes of: Run the Short Loop, and while your partner is running, perform air squats. Count your air squats!
