Coach Wooden then has a gap and then lists the following [by the way, "never" is measurable! Think about it...you never do it or you do]:
Never criticize, nag or razz a teammate.
Never miss or be late for any class or appointment.
Never be selfish, jealous, envious or egotistical.
Never expect favors.
Never waste time.
Never alibi or make excuses.
Never require repeated criticism for the same mistake.
Never lose faith or patience.
Never grandstand, loaf, sulk or boast.
Never have a reason to be sorry afterwards.
WORKOUT OF THE DAY:
MOVEMENT PREP: Lax Ball Shoulders as needed, 3 minutes. AMRAP in 3 minutes: Bear Crawl 30ft., Crab Walk 30ft., Handstand Hold (Kick-up or Walk-up) – 20 seconds.
SKILL WORK: Kick-up to Free-standing Handstand Hold Practice – relearn the roll out of the handstand position. Practice for 5-10 minutes.
STRENGTH: Weighted Pronated Grip Pull-up, 3 reps EMOM for 10 minutes working up or back down in load as you go along.
AMRAP in 15 minutes of: 5 Strict Pull-ups, 10 Single Leg Squats with Neutral Spine (5 per leg), 15 Hollow Rocks
