Workout of the Day: Thursday, 5.23.13

SQUATTING ONLY with Danny, at 430pm.

GYMNASTICS, with Danny, 6a, 530pm, and 630pm.

ADVANCED OLY, with Jim, 3-5pm, 5-7pm, 7-9pm.

If you’re looking for a great way to mobilize your shoulders for the Olympic Lifts, the inchworm/downward dog is probably one of the best positions for you when done right.  Curious about what qualifies as “right”?  Head to CROGA on Sundays with Tim for all things yogi-approved.



MOVEMENT PREP: Lax Ball and/or Foam Roll as needed, 5 minutes. For 60ft: Inchworms, Spider-Man Steps (elbow to floor), Samson Stretch plus twist toward the front knee, Duck Walk, Broad Jumps.
POWER: Clean, up to a peak.
CONDITIONING: Every 30 seconds for 4 minutes: Clean 85% of your peak, and Front Squat it 2 times.  Ideally, use the same load that you used last week.
