Workout of the Day: Wednesday, 6.19.13

Did you know that Mayva just had her FIRST child, Annabel, only 9 months ago and SINCE that time she got her first handstand push-up and a whole host of other benchmark abilities? If you’ve been here for a little while, take a second to think back on just how VERY many things you have learned how to do since you’ve been at CFCC – honestly, the list is amazing!

WORKOUT OF THE DAY:
MOVEMENT PREP: Lax Ball Shoulders as needed, 5 minutes. Handstand Walk-up or Hand Balancing (Free-standing or Wall-Assisted) for 1 minute. Tripod Practice, for 3 minutes. Handstand Push-up Negatives for Proper Shoulder Positioning, complete at least 5 reps or work on the kick-up. Practice the Kipping Handstand Push-up if you have it, 3 minutes.
SKILL WORK: Strict False Grip to Kipping False Grip Muscle Up.
Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:
4 Handstand Push-ups
8 2-Pood Kettlebell swings
